Due to unforseen circumstances the Cowichan Aboriginal Film Festival and Youth FX workshops will be cancelled for this year, 2016. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. For those of you that are visiting the area and were hoping to take in the festival events as part of your cultural connection, we are still be working on the carving project to create the welcome poles for Xwaaqw'um Village.   • 2016 Festival Cancelled

    The Cowichan Aboriginal Festival of Film & Art is a celebration of Aboriginal filmmakers, artists and performance artists. The Festival is a welcoming and inclusive showcase of the amazing community of skilled Aboriginal professionals who use film and art to tell their own stories in their own words. Set in the picturesque Cowichan Valley on southern Vancouver Island, the Festival is a wonderful medley of tradition, culture, art and entertainment.
