The Cowichan Intercultural Festival of Film & Art (CIFFA) Society


  1. To develop an annual festival of film and art in the Cowichan region that showcases indigenous film, performance art and artisans; currently called the Cowichan International Aboriginal Film Festival.
  2. To raise cultural awareness and contribute to the acceptance and understanding of cultural diversity through community workshops, gatherings and special events.
  3. To create a draw and support for youth of all cultures interested in developing skills in film & media arts.
  4. To support indigenous film makers and cross cultural film making efforts, throughout Canada and internationally.
